This workshop, sponsored by AIM and the NSF, will bring together
researchers interested in group theory, dynamical systems, and
C*-algebras with interests revolving around topological full groups,
groups acting on rooted trees, orbit equivalence theory, automata
groups, symbolic and tiling dynamics, and arboreal representations
of Galois groups to discuss recent developments in the subject with
the focus on ample-like groups, their actions and algebraic properties. 

The workshop is organized by
Rostislav Grigorchuk, Constantine Medynets, and Dmytro Savchuk.

Space and funding is available for a few more participants.
If you would like to participate, please apply by filling
out the on-line form (available at the link above) no later
than January 31, 2024. Applications are open to all, and
we especially encourage women, underrepresented minorities,
junior mathematicians, and researchers from primarily
undergraduate institutions to apply.
