Brian Conrey is the founding Executive Director of the American Institute of Mathematics. He received his PhD from the University of Michigan, has served on the faculties of University of Illinois and Oklahoma State University, and was a member of the Institute for Advanced Study. He serves as an editor of the Journal of Number Theory and is also active in several outreach programs for high school students interested in mathematics.

Steven G. Krantz received his PhD from Princeton University and has held academic positions at UCLA, Princeton University, Penn State, and Washington University in St. Louis. In addition to serving on the Council, the Executive Committee, and chairing the Committee on Publications of the American Mathematical Society, he is the founder of The Journal of Geometric Analysis and also a member of several editorial boards. Krantz has authored over 50 books, and has received the Beckenbach Book Award and the Chauvenet Prize.

Rachel Kuske holds a Canadian Research Chair in Applied Mathematics at the University of British Columbia. Following her PhD in Engineering Sciences and Applied Mathematics at Northwestern University, she held NSF and NSF-NATO Postdoctoral Fellowships and a Szego Assistant Professorship at Stanford University. She was the founder and director of the AWM Mentor Network and has been co-ordinating projects supporting Women in Science at various levels.

David Farmer is a founding member of ARCC. He received his PhD from Oklahoma State University and his research interests are in L-functions and modular forms. He actively involves undergraduates in his research and is also working on developing Web-based tools for research mathematics.
